Our lives are an Advent – a time of waiting, listening and hoping, a time of openness to the unimaginable gift of God. Pause in quiet reflection these days and listen to the winter within. Prepare for God’s gift to us in the Incarnation.

*YOGA, PRAY AND PLAY: DEEP RELAXATION WINTER RETREAT
Come REST, RELAX and REJUVENATE. We will do restorative yoga and experience yoga nidra (the art of deep relaxation). Relaxation is a learned skill and participants will learn and experience various techniques for relaxation. The heart of yogic teachings lies in the belief that a self-fulfilled person is a healthy person, free from dis-ease caused by stress and improper living habits. The practice of yoga is designed to lead the person to an ever-increasing knowledge of oneself and the needs of their body and mind in order to achieve and maintain good physical and mental health and spiritual harmony. We will listen to that deeper part of ourselves and experience the connection of the mind, body, heart and spirit. This retreat is for the new and curious about yoga to the experienced yogis and yoginis. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a journal and a mat or beach towel.

SILVER HAIRED SAINTS: JOURNEY TO THE WISDOM YEARS
St. Francis de Sales said, “Age frees me from care and detaches my heart.” Pope Francis says that we only get better with age, like fine wine. Join Bro. Mickey as he shares his paintings and stories in celebration of the second half of life, when we evolve into our true selves. From Mary and Elizabeth in Jesus’ time to Pope St. John XX111 and Dorothy Day in our own, we will look at more mature saints and artists from across the ages who help us develop a mature relationship with God and simply be ourselves, perfectly well. NO ONE UNDER FIFTY ADMITTED :)
Michael O’Neill McGrath, OSFS February 15-17, 2019
LENTEN RETREAT: The Psychology and Spirituality of Evil.
Jungian psychology has many beneficial insights into the nature of evil from a human level. These days it is too easily used and projected on one another. This weekend of prayer and reflection will look at the mystery of evil within myself and the power it has over the world. Through Christian lenses we will look at the spirituality of evil in our lives.

HOLY WEEK RETREAT
This day shall be a memorial feast for you, which all generations shall celebrate as a feast in Yahweh’s honor.
This triduum retreat is a special invitation to spend time apart in an atmosphere of prayer and silence so that we may enter more deeply into the Pascal Mystery. Each day of the retreat will center around the liturgical celebration and will provide an opportunity for guidance in personal prayer.
